415 Records sent a novelty single, featuring a pair of deejays, to friends and fans for the 1979 holiday season. In the late 1970s, Eddy (or Eddie) Gorodetsky was a writer at popular Boston FM radio station WBCN; Tom Couch was the station's production director. Based on that background, the duo might seem an unlikely source of one of 415 Records' earliest (sort-of) releases. The pair made this quickie, one-off single in the mode of Dickie Goodman, taking an existing popular song and bending it to their quirky, humorous perspective.

Disturbing the Peace's chapter on Eddy Gorodetsky and Tom Couch is based upon interviews with 415 Records founders Howie Klein and Chris Knab.
